Area Supervisor

Purpose of role

To represent Enviro Frontier across the geographical area of responsibility to ensure that Enviro fulfils client commitments in line with contractual and legislative requirements and actively contributes to the ongoing growth of Enviro Frontier via increasing the share of wallet of current clients and identifying and growing new clients. To ensure the appropriate number of Tree Partners are in place, with strong relationships developed.

Reports to

General Manager Australia/NZ Enviro Frontier

Major responsibilities

  • Effective planning and delivery of compliant arboreal and related services to clients in line with contractual and legislative obligations

    • Review of a backlog of (quotes, jobs etc.)

    • Work with customer care to ensure effective prioritisation of backlog

    • Effective allocation of resources 

    • Ensure delivery to quality and time frame parameters

  • Development of strong and constructive relationships with existing Tree Partners to ensure a high level of compliance with Enviro Frontier requirements. These may include:

    • High quality of work delivered

    • Use of the Tree Manager App

    • Provision of all required compliance documentation 

    • Compliance with WH&S legislation and Enviro Frontier requirements

    • Compliance with client specific requirements (induction, WH&S, communication etc.)

  • Identify requirements for additional Tree Partners and recruit Tree Partners to ensure Enviro Frontier has sufficient operational coverage for both current and anticipated business requirements in the area of responsibility

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients within areas of responsibility that result in a high degree of client satisfaction and repeat/extended business

  • Identify and win additional business within the area of responsibility through the identification of customers that fit within Enviro Frontier’s target sectors, and the development of relationships with influencers and decision-makers within those client organisations

  • Preparation and submission of proposals to clients

  • Assist Finance in the resolution of customer debt issues

  • Liaise effectively with Customer Care personnel to ensure they understand client requirements and jointly deliver a high level of service to the client base

  • Regularly (weekly, monthly) report to the General Manager and/or other (e.g., CEO or Board from time to time). Prepare written report as discussed and agreed upon commencement (to be attached).

Professional experience/qualifications

  • Arborist with Certificate 3 in Arboriculture (preferred), with 5- 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Area/Operations Management experience

  • Team leadership experience

  • Sales/Business Development/Account Management experience
