Enviro Trees was recently engaged by SES NSW to deliver an emergency make-safe operation in North Macksville following severe wind conditions. A large uprooted Cypress Pine had collapsed into a structurally compromised Fig tree, posing an immediate risk to property, live powerlines, and public safety.

Key challenges included:

  • An uprooted Pine tree leaning under tension into a weakened Fig tree

  • Live powerlines at risk if either tree shifted

  • Unstable site conditions that prevented traditional climbing access

Our solution:
✔️ Deployed a 60-tonne crane and Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
✔️ Safely dismantled both trees with precision
✔️ Mitigated the risk to surrounding infrastructure and occupants
✔️ Ensured the site was left safe, stable, and clear of immediate hazards
