Emergency Make Safe - Dulwich Hill, NSW

Client: Programmed Homes NSW

Location: Dulwich Hill, NSW Australia

Service Provided: Emergency Make Safe

Enviro Trees was engaged to remove a large fallen tree from a neighbouring property that had collapsed onto the client’s unit. The tree was only supported by the roof, posing a high risk of further failure.

Due to restricted access, no mobile machinery or EWPs could be used, and there were no suitable trees for climbing anchors. To ensure a controlled and safe removal process, the strategy involved constructing scaffolding and using steel props to stabilise the tree. The climber anchored off the building’s roof beam to carefully dismantle the sections in a safe and methodical manner.

The high-risk works were carried out by a skilled team consisting of a climber/rigger, supervisor, groundsman, and a plant operator, using a tipper truck and chipper. All debris was manually removed through a narrow access to the front of the property.
