Emergency Make Safe - Pottsville, NSW

Client: SES NSW

Location: Pottsville, NSW, Australia

Service Provided: Emergency Make Safe

After a storm event, a large gum tree (greater than 20 metres in size) uprooted and became suspended across two other trees in the rear garden. The tree was leaning dangerously towards the house, putting the building and its occupants at risk. Under SES instruction, Enviro Trees was called to perform a make-safe, dismantle the failed tree, and leave cut material safely on site.

The works required a skilled crew and a range of specialised equipment, from a climber/rigger and supervisor to groundsmen, a plant operator, tipper truck, bobcat, and 4x4, to safely dismantle the canopy, manage debris, and transport heavy timber off site.
